Amish Sheds Direct Limited Warranty
At Amish Sheds Direct, we are dedicated to crafting high-quality, Amish-built sheds that combine traditional craftsmanship with durability. We stand behind every shed we produce with a robust warranty to ensure your complete satisfaction and peace of mind. Our sheds are designed to provide reliable storage and functionality for years to come, and our warranty reflects our commitment to quality.
Warranty Coverage
All sheds are backed by a 10-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and Amish craftsmanship. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a defect is identified, Amish Sheds Direct will, at our discretion, repair or replace any defective components to restore the shed to its intended functionality. Additionally, specific components such as shingles, siding, windows, and flooring may carry extended manufacturer’s warranties, which we fully support.
Additional Warranties
Leveling Kits and Foundation Blocks: We offer a 90-day limited warranty on leveling kits and block packages, starting from the date of delivery. Due to the weight of sheds, natural settling may occur over time, requiring re-leveling. Re-leveling after 90 days is subject to an additional fee.
Electrical Packages: Electrical components installed by our builders are covered by our 10-year limited warranty. Modifying the electrical box, wiring or components voids this warranty with exception of hook ups or connections completed by a certified electrician. Proof of professional installation is required for warranty claims. Note that “pigtail” electrical options will carry no warranty. Additionally, modifications or work done that is determined to be the cause of any issue will carry no warranty.
Heaters, AC Unites, Ramps, Light Bulbs etc. are covered by the product manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty limitations
This warranty does not cover damage caused by adverse weather typically covered under homeowners insurance, fire, theft, vandalism, animal damage etc.. Shed must be properly maintained including regular repainting, staining, keeping the underside clear of vegetation, debris, pests etc. Failure to maintain the shed may void the warranty. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear such as fading of exterior surface, minor splitting, warping, twisting of wood. Saltwater exposure or prolonged wet conditions can expedite the shed aging process.
Items not covered by the warranty include shed contents, personal property, broken windows or damages visible at delivery not reported immediately, lost or missing keys, damages caused by exceeding the floor weight ratings etc. Customizations occurring by a third party may void the warranty if it is determined they cause the failure of an item typically covered by the warranty. Manufacturer’s warranty always supersede the Amish Sheds Direct warranty.
Non-Transferable: This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non transferrable.
Misuse, Neglect, Moving or altering shed may void the warranty.
Moving the shed from its original installation site, altering without approval, or damage due to misuse, improper maintenance, neglect, or unauthorized modifications may void the shed warranty.
